Budget 2024-25 Salary Increase Govt Employees In India. The eligibility limit will be a salary of ₹ 1 lakh per. During a cabinet meeting chaired by chief minister siddaramaiah on monday, it was announced that government employees will receive a 27.5% salary increase starting august 1.

The finance minister also announced the increase in pension @ 15% with effect from 1 st july 2024. Salaried employee in new tax regime will save up to rs 17,500 in income tax, the finance minister said.
